Goku vs Superman

Who would win? This has been a controversial argument for so long, who do you guys think would win?

 

Goku. There is no argument. Goku can move at an infinite speed (instance transmission) and is much stronger than Superman. Superman would disintegrate from the force of Goku's spirit bomb (or Kamehameha). Goku wouldn't even need to be more than SSJ to beat him.

 

I think it depends on where you take your definition of superman from. I read this article saying that the comics or somewhere else maybe makes superman out to be absolutely invincible without kryptonite.

He lifted the entire planet earth with one arm. And he could even push the sun around they say because of the super power up it'd give him. I think he even withstood the blast of a supernova or something like that.

So either it'd be a stalemate, superman would die with kryptonite, or Goku would die. But I don't think it's possible for superman to lose without kryptonite.

 

I am the biggest fan of goku, But put plain and simply Goku can not beat superman in a fight.

Superman has had very many writers and is meant to be simply overpowered.

God Goku would probably put up a good fight... Especially since he fought on par with Beerus who's the god of destruction and can destroy universes....

I'm a DBZ fan, and in general Goku. However, Superman can't die, DBZ folk can. So, in a perfect world Superman is always going to win.

Superman's only weakness is Kryptonite...Unless Goku has a kryptonite karate belt, I don't see Goku coming out on top.

 

Goku has the means to acquire kryptonite and ALWAYS trains and prepares for fights before hand. He'd have kryptonite.

OT: Definitely Goku without question. If you tell me a "superhuman" such as Suerpman, can resist and defeat someone who can attain God form, I'd consider that a joke. How would they figure Superman is indestructible? I'm also certain that Goku can do anything Superman can do in a lesser form.

 

You forget that goku prefers a fair fight when his opponent is strongest.

Turns out even the kryptonite argument doesn't hold up. Superman ate kryptonite and is now immune or something. So he's invincible. He cannot die, so how would Goku win?

 

Surely Superman would want Goku at his strongest, no?

Superman can lift the earth and move the sun. For heavens sake, Piccolo destroyed the moon with an effortless blast, and Goku made a hole in planet namek in similar fashion (in just his ss1 form). Planet namek also is 10x the gravity of earth, making it significantly heavier and more durable, thus being able to destroy, or even puncture it is much more of a feat than being able to lift earth. Frieza effortlessly destroyed the planet.

Beerus destroyed 2 stars effortlessly because he couldn't sleep. Stars are believed to weigh over 200 solar masses.

Goku can shatter mountains effortlessly in his regular form.

Beerus can split planets by tapping his finger on a table (shown in the premier episode of DBS on July 5) so assuming the strongest form of SSG Goku fought him at 85% of Beeru's max power, he could easily decimate planets as well.

It's been proven that Goku is faster than light speed, and as a child outran a laser.

In terms of Superman's supposed indestructibility, how is this being measured? Superman also hasn't fought anyone close to Goku's level, and Goku has fought enemies much stronger than he is, and has won.

Theoretically, Superman was made to be the strongest in a universe that does not include anime characters. It doesn't make much sense to compare the two, especially since Superman hasn't fought anyone credible in comparison.

 

And that's really the truth of it. They exist in different universes/realities. You can't compare them. Superman can't die according to the authors and Goku's power is immeasurable. What happens when a unstoppable force meets a immovable object? Who knows? Because it can't happen.
