Favourite holiday destinations?

I want to say summer beaches, but I really have to side with winter mountains on this one.

 

Tromso, Norway. Was here earlier this year with my girlfriend. Had a whale steak and a reindeer hotdog. Insanely expensive though haha. Saw the northern lights!

 

Dog was around £6, and was very nice actually haha.

Whale steak on the other hand, was like a really bloody steak, but with a fishy aftertaste lol

 

Went to Portugal last summer, was extremely nice. Hot sandy beaches, and the locals were surprisingly all very accommodating.

 

Netherlands and Japan (Just because of their ancient history with samurais lol)

 

Any particular beaches you recommend? Going there for a month in august

If you live in Australia, Hamilton Island is worth the visit.

I like beaches lovely sand with clear waters ! I have never taken a winter vacation but would love to!

 

Winter mountains.

Unless it's a super wealthy person that invites you to their beach house. As fun as the beach is, doing activities usually cost a lot of money. A friend's friend invited a bunch of us to his beach house. Beautiful house, 2 jetskis, a yacht, and one of those water powered hoverboards. Went to a different island with a beach all to ourselves, others scattered with the jetskis, 2 of them sharing one went missing for a long time which turned out to be super dangerous because 1 basically passed out drunk and fell off. On our way to a different island, someone was going on the jetski too fast that the guy holding onto her from behind pretty much fell off forwards while holding onto her and they pretty much did 2 front flips off the jetski. Thankfully no one got hurt.

Not only does it cost a lot to do activities like this throughout the day, but there are usually a lot of restrictions. Some jetskis don't go as fast as others. You'd also likely be brought where the tourists are.

 

Switserland during the ski season is the best

get into the family cabin, meatup with my local friends and just relax weeks on end! #1 thing to do in the winter

Don't forget the late night dining on the mountain and at the end sledge down all drunk with 10 other people

 

venezuela isla margarita, u can get 5stars hotel for 9$ the night lol, 2kg lobster by 3$. just be aware of ppl and run if u see something strange :v

I really like to relax in my parents' country house, if we are talking about the weekend. I can quickly get there, take everything you need and most importantly friends with you and have a good time.

 

I prefer to rest in quiet and cozy places where there is no Internet and crowds of tourists. Most of all I like Canada, there are a lot of secluded places.
