Favorite MMO?

I like City of Heroes.This is better than other games.

 

Out of the current MMO's that I have played, I have been playing RS the longest, but WOW the most frequent. Will definitely go with World of Warcraft

 

Haven't played most of the other games, but i've put thousands of hours into runescape, went with runescape.

 

No EOL? Pshh I'm disappointed!

Is it sad the only game out of those I've played is RuneScape >.<?

 

You really should branch out, Jagex has fucked me one too many times with their updates.

How are you enjoying WoW? I've always wanted to play that and a lot of my friends played that over WoW. I have always been reluctant to branch from RS though

 

I've been enjoying it a lot actually, and I think you should definitely try it out!

It succeeds in a lot of ways that RS fails. Extremely helpful support, active PVP scene and end-game PVE with epic raids, dungeons to crawl, massive areas to explore, etc. It isn't as much of a grind either, you can max a character in about a month.

Oh awesome - that you can max out in a month. That's where things start to get fun huh. And so remind me, what are the differences between characters i.e. rogue etc?

I've been enjoying the whole process honestly, even stuff from new expansions has kind of been mixed into lower level content. The coolest quests and raids are obviously at a higher level. But I haven't really felt much of a grind playing a few hours a day so far.

Same, I'm very reluctant. Recently been getting back into xbox. Playing assassins creed, nhl 2k15, and some other games. Not sure pc gaming really is where I'm looking to go atm.

I voted runescape because it is life <3.

 

I've stopped playing MMOs altogether, but I've had the urge to hop back onto Diablo 3 recently and am thinking of picking up Elder Scrolls Online.

 

You should add "Blade & Soul" recently came out and looks really promising

 

Add Lord of the Rings Online or LOTRO. It's definitely slowed down since they change publishers or whatever, but I've been in love with it for way too long.

 

My favorite is Clash Of Clans cuz I have no other MMO games.

 

Looks like Guild Wars has a 3rd spot to RS and WoW, surprisingly to me. I actually jumped back on 2 with a friend last night and realized it just as dead as when I left (1-1.5 years ago) but still a game I would recommend to anyone looking for a fun and non WoW-clone game.
