Favorite Memory Playing Pokemon?

Wow awesome responses! I can relate to so many of you. In fact, I'm going to start a new game on fire red today and might get a list of challenges to complete l!

 

Pokemon Go aside, it would probably be the hours and days I spent "merching" pokemon on the GTS in Diamond. Somehow I ended up with several Arceus before they were even officially released just by trading all day long. I also found out about a pokemon duplication glitch in the GTS so I was able to clone a lot of Pokemon too. Good times

 

Hahaha I remember my aunt coming to my house and randomly got me a GameShark... after that I basically saved over my complete game on Leaf Green and had a blast battling my friends on the bus with the old GBA multiplayer adapter cable, remember those? It was fun because I could use random, unevolved, low tier pokemon and fight my friends level 80s Charizards. I was always more about speed running the gyms the collecting pokemon (other than searching hours for legendaries).


Talking about this makes me think I may have been a nerd back in the Gap

 

It has to be when I got my first shiny back in 2003 in Pokemon Ruby. It was a Zigzagoon and I encountered it just outside of Lilycove in the grass near the entrance of the Safari Zone. I'm fairly certain the cartridge is still buried somewhere in my old stuff, maybe one day I'll stumble upon it again when I'm cleaning my old stuff.
