Farming Pet Chance?

what can I do to maximize my chance at getting the pet through farming on my Ironman.

Also, anyone know the % of getting it before 99? Like if I get 99 what are the odds I get the pet?

 

I have no clue but I did 99 through magics and dragonfruits and didn't get the pet. Wasn't suprised though its the fastest method to 99 with the least harvests.

 

I've heard that the chances of getting pet by 99 is around 50%.
Do 2 full magic tree runs, 1 palm tree run, calquat tree, hespori, 3-5 herbs, and 3-5 snape grass (allotment) runs daily.

Getting the pet is all based on that specific harvest item's base chance. Higher tiered farming tiered items, therefore, provide better base chances.

I.E. at level 98 you have a 1/6,918 chance of pet from a magic tree harvest, whereas at level 98 you have a 1/171,527 chance for snape grass harvest.

Your best bet is to do several different types of patches (this is why the above mentioned daily run works great).

I've heard that planting seaweed is also a great way to get pet.

The rates of getting based on the farming supply used. No way to predict by 99 if you'd get or not especially for an iron that will plant multiple/various different types of crops along the way. Most likely you will not get by 99 but GL!

 

I got a farming pet at level 47 I believe. I was only doing tree runs.
