I can make about 2.5-3b/month just by running 10 bots, is that good?

How do companies make their RSGP stock?
    By farming gold on mules.

Is there money to be made merchanting RSGP?
Yes, but not as much as farming on several accounts as suggested by yourself unless you have the experience.

For myself and the average merchant I still stick to my claim that farming is more profitable. Maybe when you have the suppliers and a flow of come back buyers EVENTUALLY merchanting can get to the point where merchanting is easier then managing a lot of bots, but getting to that point takes a lot of time. With farming you can hop right into it assuming you have the investment funds, and sell off your gp for around 0.5 easily to people like yourself and I.

As for running literally a thousand bots.. how do you figure? On 120 bots I was making 20k profit around a half year ago and to date about 5-6k. And keep in mind this was just with a bot that took less then a day to get up and botting (low requirements.)

I could be running more profitable bots but I just don't have the time to invest in getting the requirements. For example here is what I would be making if I turned all 120 of my bots into frost dragon bots. I realize these calculations are assuming there are no distractions whatsoever including downtime and bans. In reality there will be bans if you run a large number of bots. I also realize it is an unreasonable claim to say someone can run 120 frost dragon bots. Not many people will go out and get the requirements to run 120 frost dragon bots. And if they were to buy all 120 frost dragon ready accounts that investment cost alone would probably be around 6k just to buy the accounts.

At optimal bot efficiency with 120 bots..

    30 frost dragon auths x $24.95 = $748.50

I'm not going to count this in the costs because this is only an initial investment; once you buy 30 auths you never need to pay for an auth again. You can also sell them off site on a forum that allows it. I'm also counting the frost dragon ready accounts as an initial investment (yes some will get banned, but these calculations are assuming optimal efficiency.)

    10 servers x $70 = $700
I'm sure if you called this server company up they would even give to you for cheaper since you are kind of renting their servers in bulk.

    120 memberships x $2.50 = $300
I paid 5m per membership in bulk (valuing gp at 0.5.) Once you are around a bit you will have upgrade contacts who sell in bulk. I trust these people not to give me bad upgrades and they never have, although some people have had other experiences.

We'll say there are 31 days in a month..
A frost dragon bot currently makes roughly 1.8m/hour..

    24 hours x 1.8m = 43.2m
    120 bots x 43.2m = 5 184m/day
    31 days x 5184m/day = 160 704m/month

Since you can easily sell gp off for around $0.5/m..

    160 704m/month x $0.5/m = $80 352 revenue/month

    Revenue - monthly investments..

    $80 352 - ($700 + $300) = $79 352/month profit

Obviously this situation is unrealistic because it is assuming no downtime or bans whatsoever, but this just gives a rough idea. The hard part is getting the 120 frost dragon accounts, but you can always spend your first month botting up the account requirements.

I also personally know someone who writes his own flipping script. Flipping scripts don't require any requirements other then gp to start with and membership. The ban rate on it is also incredibly low if not non-existant, so he makes a lot.

    His claim isn't unrealistic..
