Just making a point that people fuck up, I usually do respect staff decisions on this site, but I dunno, maybe I just don't understand the circumstances well enough, he is a great guy, and everybody's entitled to fuck up once in a while.

What he did on the site is the equivalent of defecting in real life, as Sythe said, treason. He is a great guy, and everyone is entitled to screw up, not everyone is entitled to being pardoned.

I think leaking staff info is more of a warning infraction, while abusing mod powers, etc, scamming because of mod powers should be perm banned.

He had the choice to not give away the staff lounge information. What's in there is for the staff only, and for a reason. It's not the "staff-and-all-your-friends-lounge".

It is a hidden forum to everyone but staff for a reason. The reason is not important, what is though, is that there are rules. And one of the rules is, only the staff is to read and know what is in the staff lounge. He broke the rule, which is a ban worthy offense.

Are you serious? I bet this is the reason some people regard Sythe as a shithole. He apologized, he owned up to his mistakes; not something I've seen many people do. If you want respect, you have to show it as well. You don't seem to be showing much respect at all.

I guess my point is this. At least be courteous and read his post. I don't even know who he is and I read it. I believe it was heartfelt, and, while he did make a mistake, I don't think you need to be a complete ass about it.
