PoP - Bowl Region

I'm currently in the bowl region. Should I get the 4th ship asap or should I get crew/ship upgrades before going for the 4th ship? I'm going to get everything eventually, but was wondering what would be the most ideal strategy in order to quickly advance to the final region?

 

I'd personally work up to the 4th ship so you can get to the pincers and then just get everything once you get there.

 

I think you'd be better off getting better crew, as you will find it hard to complete the missions for Jade with the crew from the previous region, then once you have good crew you can easily get the Jade you need

 

Upgrading your workshop costs 4000 Jade, but it's worth doing it early on. As it will improve your rewards by 5%. That's what I did first anyway.

 

I spend some jade until I got decent crew to complete most voyages comfortably. After that, a 4th ship come rather easily. Would recommend you to choose this path.
