Which violation you are reporting the user for: Poor Trading Practices

Why you think they're violating Sythe rules: Shin was asked to code and develop a bot for the GPCasino discord. Since the beginning Shin has been very nonchalant toward the entire project. The owner of the discord @Bert paid shin in advance ~$1000 USD to develop the bot. @Bert gave Shin a deadline of the 27th of June, 2019 to finish the bot in it's entirety. Bert left for vacation on the 14th and told Shin that the bot was to be finished when he returned home.

For the duration of the time that Bert was away, Myself, Admin @all4love12 and Admin @Sempiternally / @Sarune as well as the other hosts have been trying to get information from Shin as to the status of the bot. It was not until yesterday, June 26th that Shin voiced his concerns about not meeting the deadline.

This is 1 out of 2 times that Shin has interacted at all with myself since Bert has been away regarding the bot. When I last checked in with Shin on June 22nd his reply was that he would be working to finish everything by the deadline of the 27th.

This is clearly an indication that Shin had acknowledged and understood the deadline of the project as he says himself that he will be working toward meeting it. If shin had any concerns during the duration of the time that Bert was away he should have voiced those concerns to someone in our discord. I understand if he did not want to voice those concerns to a mere host, but there are two other admins available to speak with all of which have also been left in the dark when inquiring about the status of the bot.

When Shin was confronted about his poor reliability and communication skills, we were met with multiple one sentence replies that most of the time had nothing to do with the concerns being brought to his attention.

I am not posting this report as an attempt to tarnish Shin's reputation. I am posting this report because I along with other members of the GP Casino community, and tired of being left in the dark and being treated like the job that we paid Shin to do is a mere side show compared to everything else is on his plate. I would expect that once you have collected a payment for a job, especially as a freelancer, that you would do you best to provide proper customer satisfaction and communication whilst working on the job. If you knew that you were going to be busy, or if you had any concerns at all you could have voiced those instead of merely avoiding all of our concerns during the duration of Bert's vacation. This is why I believe that Shin has been using poor trading practices while taking on jobs via Sythe.

I would like to request that Shin does not handle this report of course as it has been made against himself. I would prefer if @video handled this.

 

It's not past the 27th yet so I am unsure why you are posting this as this deadline has not passed.

Why is Bert not posting this as he is the one who ordered and paid from Shin?

Do you have the orginal agreement where it shows the date required and terms?


I don't plan on handling this, but these questions will need to be answered if you want to take any action.

Additionally im editing the title as it's not yet past the deadline so the current title has no merit.

 

To address point 1; I have reason to believe that prior to yesterday when shin voiced his concerns that he had no made ANY progress on the bot since he released 55/44x2 . This means he has yet to begin coding 4+ games for the server. How can you possibly finish that within 24hr and expect to produce quality work.

To address point 2; Bert is currently on a 22 hour flight home from Russia.

To address point 3; I will get Bert to post the screen shots of the original agreement as soon as he is home from his flight.

I believe that the title does hold Merit, as regardless of him not meeting the deadline his actions towards customers is extremely poor and unprofessional and there is valid evidence to support that he is not being cooperative when being asked to present proof that he has been working on the bot.

Additionally, I believe that there are other projects that were in the queue ahead of mine that have yet to be completed. If you wish I could post evidence of this to support my claims of poor business practice.
