RSN - 'Pardon' sniped

I made a previous thread which I would like to correct. At this point I do feel scammed by Vivi.

Explanation of the trade:
I saw his thread, and it said he transfers names for full responsibility, when I ended up buying a name, he didn't even attempt to offer his so called "service" and didn't warn me specifically that name sniping bots were this bad and that I had no chance if I did it myself and would 100% be sniped. You told me about 3rd parties but you did not push me to do it. You just wanted to take the money and not care about what happened to me. This is false advertising, from what I've heard you've gotten in trouble for this before. It says you transfer names with responsibility but you didn't even offer this to a customer of yours, you just let him get fucked. You said name sniping was bad in this market but you didn't make it clear enough that I would be 100% screwed if I did it myself, or else I would of made a different decision and hired a real transfer service despite me being sensitive about my info. Also you did direct me to 3rd parties, but you never specifically stated that you did NOT take snipe responsibility, nor did you ever make me agree to any Terms of Service. These are bad trading practices that in my opinion could warrant some type of punishment just thinking logically.

I can only assume you talked to a certain someone and he pushed you to make this thread, looks like he was quick to like the post too. Wish you would have just talked it out with me instead of deleting me for whatever reason after what had happened.

Either way, as for the service itself, I told you from the beginning and multiple times through out that my list is heavily targeted by snipers. You said you understood the sniping so I didn't feel the need to get too into it. Just because I offer a service doesn't mean I'm ALWAYS offering it. Ie if i claim to sell gold, sometimes I won't have any in stock to sell. And sometimes I will refuse to offer a transfer if I know the risk is too high, or my internet is acting up, or multiple other reasons. That's my choice. And other people do it too. I never offered you the transfer of this name, nor did you ask me to. I told you very clearly what choices you had when you purchased the name.

If I give you complete control over a lv3 account with a name on it, and you decide to play that account, that's your choice. If you decide to transfer the name, that's your choice. If you decide to re-sell the account with the name, that's your choice. The fact that YOU decided to transfer BY YOURSELF despite me warning you and stating very clearly the risks, and recommending using a transfer service, was me doing my due diligence. I do not accept any snipe responsibility If I give you the account itself, nor should I. And it is stated as such in my terms of service.

At the end of the day, you refused to let anyone have access to your main, vouches or no vouches. You took the risk of moving it and failed. It sucks, but it happens. I conduct my business on Sythe with respect to ALL of my customers (current, and future ones). I am sometimes overly paranoid who I give my list to in a foolish/useless attempt to STOP these snipers (specifically Gucci, and no, this isn't a tag so don't feel the need to reply to this thread bud, just stating a known fact).









I take no joy in seeing my names get stolen by these idiot snipers. And I definitely don't like seeing people lose their money. I ALWAYS explain the dangers of sniping, and it's unfortunate I can't always offer my own service to move it. BUT there are those who CAN, and DO, and if I cannot, I direct my clients to them. I do not know that my names on my list will be 100% sniped, like you claimed, but I said people without experience have a very low success rate, and that is true. And is still true after your incident. I did not purchase a "white-list" from these snipers so they would back off my list like some other people did (which in my opinion is colluding but we'll leave that for another time). This market sucks, and it's corrupt and full of greed and pettiness, but I promise you I am not here only for the money, and my morality isn't shit that I would let you go into a name purchase completely blind of the risks.

@Vivi gave you several warnings about name snipers and recommended you to use a transfer service. You rejected the idea of a transfer service because you did not want someone to sign into your main, which leaves you the one responsible for the transfer as Vivi wasn't offering it.

Name transfer service providers are completely within their rights to pick and choose which names they transfer - many users are targeted by name snipers and this is a way they can minimize loss
