Fall of Berlin or Jack the Ripper?

I need an opinion guys. I'm going to be writing a historical fiction short story and I can't decide on a topic. Should I do it over the fall of Berlin during WWII, or Jack the Ripper?

Jack The Ripper.

There are tons of conspiracy's you can write about.

 

Ah Mah God, do Jack the Ripper, and incorporate Candlejack into it somehow, that way you will have the bes

 

Definitely go with Jack the Ripper imo.

Jack the Ripper just has a better ring to it. I'd choose that.

yeah.. Jack the ripper is more exciting. Fall of Berlin is just another boring WWII story.

 

I saw this as fairly easy, but you should choose the Fall of Berlin as it's much more historical in a sense that you can name the specific domino pieces which lead to it; but, with Jack the Ripper you can not. Most of what you write about Jack the Ripper will be speculation, and if this is anything like an analysis or synthesis essay - what we write mostly, but not exclusively - then you'll want to pick the one that is not as falsifiable.
