Appealing a ban?

What is the likely hood of a ban appeal going through, if you are able to completely prove it was a different person who had caused this charge?

Such as, there was a period of 3 months where I wasn't able to log in at all(I can prove this) and the account was banned 2 months into this period. Would there be any more of a chance at having it appealed vs otherwise?

 

Is this a macroing major or RWT ban? The likelihood of jagex undoing a RWT ban is slim to none. Botting bans are being looked at every couple months now in the case that your account was hacked when the ban occurred. You need to scan the runescape forums and wait for them to post a link for another "unbanning" event where they look into banned accounts that were potentially hacked. Although the stats were pretty bad I think something like .01% of accounts looked at were unbanned it's still worth a try!

Jagex are confident in their macroing bans and as such won't even look at the appeal (unless it's during their tenure where they create a thread on the forums). But even then, you mightn't succeed.

chances of getting your account back after a permanent bann is like 1% or lower.

 

Rather go vs those 1.15xers in the max main arena and profit than wait for your acc to be unbanned.

 

They will most likely tell you that you're responsible for your own account.
