SEO Advice for a new guy?

Anybody got any good guides or personal advice on how to rank websites? I've always wanted to learn how to do it.

Any help is appreciated .

Oh lol! I work with a few friends selling reddit accounts I hope to eventually set up a website selling accounts my self.

Tomorrow ill be doing some research on SEO info, if I find any thing interesting ill come back here and chat more.

 

Nobody will hold your hand and teach you a magical fairydust step-by-step method. You need to get out there and actually put effort into learning.

If you don't improve yourself, then you won't adapt to a more successful lifestyle.

Sorry to be harsh, but believe me it's 10/10 advice.

Also note. Sythe.org is far from an internet marketers site. A lot of people here are clueless to what they are doing. Think outside of the box and use other sources.

 

Good and consistent content is the only way to the top now. Google is way smarter than you or anyone you know. Their algorithms are such that you can't cheat it. They know if people like your content or not. If people like your content it ranks up. Simple as that. You want to rank high, you produce content people want consistently and you will reach the top quickly.

This has a couple caveats. You are penalized if you create a site that doesn't meet the standard or if you try cheating the system Google may drop you from their ranking altogether.

Careful listening to people who promise to raise you to the top with their "tricks" or something along those lines. There are no SEO shortcuts, anyone who says otherwise doesn't know what they are talking about or are scamming.

Create good content, monitor your traffic and keep doing whatever correlates with increases in traffic and you'll be well on your way.

(I've competed with extremely high budget companies for the top spot on Google for high value keywords and won, not by any tricks, but while they were focused on fake backlinks and misused meta tags etc, I was busy creating content I knew customers wanted to see.)

 

Page title is important. Know what keywords to target and know what searches will bring in traffic. A social media presence can play a role too.

Content is the most important. People want good quality content and it you please your audience google will reward you for it.

 

find keywords not to saturated but relevant to your site ,build backlinks and get yourself indexed by all the search engines.

Theirs always blackhat SEO for people not bothered with investing to much time.
