Fable Anniversary

Anyone going to be getting Fable Anniversary? It's an HD remake of the first Fable. It looks pretty cool in that the graphics are a lot better and there's a set of achievements to get, but I don't know if I'm willing to shell out 40 for it.

I'll probably wait until it drops to 20-30 to get it, if at all.

Any Fable fans here?

The first Fable game is an absolute masterpiece. 2 and 3 fucking sucked.

I'll probably pick this up just because of how much I enjoyed the first game.

 

Oh hell yeah, a Fable 1 remake is DEFINITELY worth the $40 imo. I'll definitely be buying it.

And it's already available digitally on Xbox 360, you'd have to check PS3 if that's what you have because I don't know.

I'm going to buy it too!

 

I loved Fable 1, I just hated being able to beat it in like a single afternoon.

It was kind of a short game if you're talking about the main story.

There was a lot of replay value within the game, though, in my opinion.

 

Perhaps it was just because I was young at the time but I remember spending so many hours on Fable 1 but not as many on the other 2. That's usually the way it goes with main stories however with there being (hopefully) a plethora of side quests to engage in.

 

This 6-10 hours of actual gameplay left me with a bad taste.

I still throw it in here and again though. Ive gotten 3-4 playthroughs.

I could care less about any graphical update tbh.
