You might as well raise Attack and Defence both to 70. At 70 Attack, you can use a Whip, SS, and Barrows items. At 70 Defence, you can wear Barrows. It's hard getting 99 Strength when you're F2P, but you turn into P2P, I suggest bandits in the desert, experiments, or Soul Wars, while attacking players.

I suggest training on Moss Giants located in the Varrok Sewers. If you are going for 99 Strength, then do not stop. Keep training Strength until you reach your goal. If you get bored and need a break, THEN train an extra stat for a little while.

For F2P, I would recommend either Spiders on the 3rd floor of the Stronghold, Lesser Demons, Mossies, or Ankous.

Get attack to 70 and def to 70 as well. Then just go straight to 99 Str.

Depending on fishing and cooking, lesser demons in Karmiga (or so) are great, you can fish lobsters and cook them, so you dont have to buy food and get some good exp all around.

Your doing the right monsters...Lessers, ankous, roaches are horrible xp/hr. I tried them all with higher stats than yours. Moss giants have too little spawn and too many people.

Zombies in the stronghold before the fleshcrawler room is probably one of the best places to train. You can also try fleshcrawlers too, they are probably better for you since you have low defence. You can stay there longer and kill fleshies alot easier
