F2P hypeeeee

[pvm adam]

i really hope this update will bring more new players, it could increase the price of 07gp and give a nice new costumer layer to the sythe community!

Also in my opinion oldschool wont get too many new players, unless they start advertising it on the main rs website...

toughts?

[Houred]

There will be many new players.

[Vilkey5]

True, ORS need to be advertised

[Alch]

Slow growth

[AdamsGoldShop]

advertise it on twitch

Lots of players will join the community for sure.

[pvm adam]

There will be many new players.

i rly hope that u r right, wildy is completitly dead atm, it takes 15mins to get a targ...

[whaatitdo]

There will be some but I don't expect a huge rise in new Sythe members because of that.

[cownap]

I think it is good for the long term health of the game, people are more likely to casually play and might end up rejoining. Look at how many people were in the f2p worlds today, insane... they crashed several times.

[ColemanRay]

I feel like with the update of F2p, it will bring better bots... meaning more discrete and more efficient

Theres alot of new players today which was good to see. Only question is it it'll keep up at least a bit

[RSPhreak]

F2P worlds were crazy insane today. World 308 the F2P pking world was full multiple times. There were masses of level 10 clans and level 30 clans out there today.

[YerAwsum]

That just goes to show how many people were anticipating the release of F2P in 07. They advertised it well, then.

[Almighty]

Had a lot of fun yesterday with my clan.

[Dream bot]

Would be the same as the week OSRS came out. After a while it'll just bounce back to normal.

[pvm adam]

yea seems pretty good, i asked a few lvl 3s yesterday and nearly all of them said that they just came back after like 2009-12 lol

[Wub to craft]

They're not advertising OLDSCHOOL enough.
Pretend you've never played RS before, and you go to the main website... the biggest button you see is "PLAY NOW" which is Rs3. In the top right corner, there's a little "Old School" button that I can barely see... how is a new player even going to know what that means?

Anyways, I had fun yesterday making a twin mager and recking lol.

Yeah thats true. I don't know what advert Jagex is talking about but I don't see it

[RedBarol]

It will be much more people.

[Blazed Nova]

I came back with f2p so hopefully there are many others like me!
