EXTREMELY slow Youtube videos

Ok. So recently, within the past month, I was attempting to switch from the crappy TWC modem/router we got with our service. Due to technical issues, I needed to switch back to the TWC modem/router after using my own hardware.

Got it all hooked up. No internet. Called and got it all sorted out eventually. Took two calls as the agent the first time didn't activate the wifi on the connection.

So after all that, internet seems to be running amazingly. Then I go to watch a Youtube video. I can't load a Youtube video to hardly at all. The quality continues to fluctuate between 144p and 480p. Switching the quality to anything higher than 480p just takes even longer to load.

Before the hardware changes, Youtube videos were working perfectly fine. I could load a 1080p video without issues. Now I get this bullshit.

Anyone have any suggestions?

It might be congestion on TWC's line to Google. Try a VPN.
