Many religious people, being unable to accept that they are not the center of the universe, deny the existence of aliens on religious grounds.

Honestly, with the hundred-odd billion stars in our galaxy, and the hundred-odd billion galaxies that we can see so far, the odds are slim to none that other planets have failed to develop life.

I am a very religous person and I believe in aliens. Most people who believe in aliens aren't Atheists because in total of the world's population they're are few Atheists.
