Basically I was banned for this reason.
Uhm I have no idea why I would be held responsible for purchasing a guide which is not allowed on Sythe months after the purchase. The date is irrelevant I know.
The guide had not been reported by anyone and had been lying around the forum for a while. I bought it only at the time when it was still "legal." I was not aware that this guide was going against the rules. I did use the guide on one RS account, which I gave up on after the 1st recovery attempt. So, my questions are:
1. Why am [size=+2]I[/size] being held responsible for buying this guide before it became so to say "illegal?"
2. I wouldn't have too much of a problem with being banned until June 1st which was the date of the original ban, BUT it was changed to a permanent ban. Why? Does what I did really require such actions?
3. Why was I held responsible?
4. Why was I held responsible?
5. Did anybody else who bought the guide get banned?
6. Was the person who originally sold the guide banned?
I really would like to know the explanation behind this.
I do hope to be back on Sythe as soon as possible.
