explain flip merching...please?

Ok, so I've got about 25.7k on this account (nothing, I know) and I'm hoping to turn it into more without having to continue just botting fishing or woodcutting. I was hoping someone could explain how I can flip simply to get more gp on my account. I've watched NightmareRH's video on how to do it but it still really doesn't make much sense...

Buy something low, wait till ge updates sell high?

 

Hm.. You can also buy something for low, and sell it for high after 4 hours.

Few mills per flip (per 4 hours).
