Evolution of my 1ST MGC Entry! 'Computers R Evil' [PORTFOLIO]

Phew", was waiting some time to stick this up in here; haha. I guess I won; so it'll be fine for me to post this now ^.^

Considering I've not done anything artistic in a very long time, it took a few attempts to piece together my idea's, and drawing and painting skills which resulted in the Computers R Evil entry.

Now I know I'm not perfect, but I'll try any day.
Excuse me for my poor photographic and lighting skills, would of loved to scan these in, but A3 paper.
Enjoy viewing; if anyone has any feedback as to what I could do to better my sketches or general artwork I would love advice and input.

EVOLUTION OF COMPUTERS R EVIL

Pen to Paper:
The first attempt. This was really just me establishing my idea's pen to paper, no actual effort went into the making of this, but it looks hilarious so I'll post it It's pretty embarrassing. aha. :')

My whole idea stemmed from just being up late one night realising that computers are actually really evil.

Second Attempt:
This piece is more to my liking of all the drawings. Mainly, because it has the comical vibe to it. I really liked the incorporation of the clock showing the time and the PLAY play Play smothered all over it. The girls emotions, if you can see her crying here, and the PC tower looking like some type of dog, or devil hound added to the entire effect of evilness. On top of the feel that the computers were detached from electricity; if you can see clearly the plug socket is snapped from the computer wire.

This is where the addiction started to come into play. .. get it? PLAY.

Final Piece:
This is the winning piece. I decided to keep this piece upright when taking the picture, so as to show the ambiance of the computer in the shadows overtaking the room. I sketched everything originally, and coloured it in with water colour pencils. They work horrendous over pencil. I used a charcoal pencil to give more effect to the shadows and the darkness. Tried my best with what I had. I decided to differentiate the pc and the shadows; as you can see in the one below there is a normal PC on a desk; and behind it is the shadow evil computer. I didn't want to put a lot of emphasize on the girl here, so I didn't incorporate her facial features, and smothered her head with hair. This was because the main idea of the picture is all about the Computers.

A few different angles, perhaps so you can have a better viewing of everything.

This is all three pieces together; the only clear picture I took. Unfortunately. very bad lighting. Apologies.

Evolution of the Girl:

When starting the third piece; I started with drawing the girl, and decided to have her positioned specific way, as to show that she is afraid, or scared, or turning her back away from the pc, because she knows whats in the shadows.

This is how she started:
The First Girl. I kept sketching a tad too hard, and the paper kept ripping, so I attempted her again. Here she looks a bit cartoony'.

The Second girl:
She became a little bit more realistic, but again I ripped the paper with the pen, so I started killing her so I could get a nice template on the underneath paper. Thats why she looks a little messed up.

The Final Girl:
This is the final girl' - the sketch. I then decided to suffocate her with hair. I really love the shading here, but I'm not sure I got her bottom right.

I'm really glad I won this Monthly Graphics Challenge with this entry. It took a look of effort. As you can see through the picture and the evolution.
