Personally I'm very glad that I've never used Esea by now

if you don't wanna read it all, i can try to sum it a bit up.

He first makes around 3500 USD in 3-4 weeks using a Google ad (500 premium users used his link), and get paid within 6 days.
After 4 more months he has 4934 premium users which is a potential $34,291.30 monthly income for Esea.
In Sep. 2016 he tries to withdraw around $22,300 USD, and it took 3 months of waiting before Esea told him they wouldn't want to pay him the money because it violates their terms (Very big argue here, which is was it's all about now).
So they offer him a total of 8,495.85 USD (that is including the amount already paid out) to drop it and sign some papers.

Now the case is pretty much going to be handled with lawyers and shit

 

ESEA has had years of reputation as being the truly premier 3rd-party CS:GO competitive community.Despite this, they fucked up and the guy should be paid the money he is owed since he did directly drive traffic to the ESEA website.

 

Hope they get fucked in court.

i think it is ongoing still, the reddit post is only 2 days old. I don't think it has been public before the reddit post tbh. Could be a move from him to get more negative attention towards esea.

I read about this. Every move ESEA has made about this entire process has been scummy. They're hiding behind such stupid conditions. If it goes to court Mario is going to fuck them over big time.

 

Is there a reason he waited so long to withdraw it? Generally speaking with any site that stores a balance of your money you don't want to be in a position where you have to request large withdrawals unless you absolutely have to. Could he have just continued to withdraw $5k at a time like he did the first time?

 

That is true, but it might just has ended the same way with different excuses from Esea. He has also been way to patient waiting for Esea trying to withdraw his money.

 

Companies that do this with their affiliate programs are scumbags. I had a company do this to me for one of my niche websites, and they stopped responding back to my emails. It was not enough money to bring them to court over it, but I try to avoid sketchy affiliate programs by researching them properly after it happened. I hope this guy does not settle, and gets all of his money.

 

You can only withdraw once a month, I assume that had something to do with it, but fundamentally I'm guessing that since he withdrew the first $3.8k he concluded that there were no issues with what he was doing since it would've been flagged then. $3.8k is already quite a lot of money!

 

I hope it gets solved in the guy's favour.
