Equality, for all the bullshit it is.

Well I overheard some conversations while I was at school that brought up a very valid point to me, the current status of equality is utter bullshit. Ill address this on several fronts, starting with Women in the Workplace.

This is the most upfront bullshit to begin with, if you have ever worked with a woman you would know why. Susan B. Anthony rallied for equal rights for women, this would include the right to work at a well paying job, however, thats not what women were really after, Women are after special treatment, but equal pay. Think about it guys, do you tell/email the same jokes to the girls at work that you do to the guys? If so you likely have ended up in sensitivity training. Thats right, they are trying to sensitize you to women. Now hold the fuck on, you wanted to be an equal, so stop complaining about sexist jokes and go back to work, if you don't want to be an equal, then don't expect to be paid like an equal. If you want to be an equal, then expect to have sexist jokes, talks about fornication held the previous weekend and other things that men talk about, or simply shut the fuck up. Since when did we give women the right to not be offended. On this subject I'm sick of the stupid sexist women organizations relating to abuse by a man, its always a man beating a helpless women. Well maybe you should stop being so fucking helpless, go to a fucking gun shop, buy a fucking gun and ammunition and shoot him when he tries to hit you. Its called self defense, but obviously nobody thought about that before. I don't stand behind abuse against anyone, but come on, where are the organizations for abused male youth? Simply one doesn't exist because everyone is fixated on woman abuse, so they sexistly neglect the issue of male youth because simply they are male. Most of the shootings that everyone hears about are done by a man, who is mentally ill, or has a history of abuse leading to mental illness, these are the people who need help, not a pussy who can't just walk away from someone who hits them. For anyone who will argue that its not that easy, it is that fucking easy, I had abusive caretakers, and I simply left one day, and moved to other caregivers. Now women are the big ugly head of this equality bullshit, but there is another key player in the equality bullshit, handicaps.

Yes thats right, people with disabilities are another front of the equality bullshit. Almost every single person has had to let a handicap person take their place somewhere at one point. Now, they are much like women and this story I have will likely help you all understand. I was at a local fair event, and I was waiting in line for a specific ride (cant remember the name, its the one where you stand against the wall and it spins and rises and its all open) I was in line for around 1.5 hours, and it was filling up, and the ride manager closed the door at me, and once everyone was standing I seen one area left, so I was waiting for him to let me on, when he asks me to move aside, and a person in a wheelchair is wheeled up. I stopped them and said "WTF where is he going". I asked the man in the wheelchair if he thought he was equal to me, and he said he thought he was. I told him to go to the back of the line then if he was an equal, or that if he wanted me to let him ahead of me, that he has to admit the this whole line that he is a lesser being that me and that I as a greater being should be humble and let him live his desires before mine, he thought for a while about that, and the ride instructor tried to kick me out, but from where I was standing I only seen one area, but there was really two, so low and behold I am beside him, and he says to me, You are an awesome person, you see me, not the chair, they only see the chair. This describes it perfectly, everyone is so fixated on the fact that people are in a wheelchair, that they will let the handicaps trample all over them. You want to be talked to as an equal, but you want to reap the benefits of being a "lesser being". Take one or the other, but this isn't a fucking mix and match game.

The third front of inequality is the Native Tribes of North America. They claimed that we stole their sacred land from them and we should have to pay them. When they in fact stole this land from the Aztecs because of their superior technology and numbers. Too bad we came and we fucking did the same thing to them that they did to the Aztecs, but when we did it it was the only time it was wrong. Now that argument would have no importance WERE THE GOVERNMENT NOT PAYING THEM AND MAKING THEM TAX EXEMPT. That is the thing that pisses me off the most, the government sends them free money to live on a reserve. They spend it on liquor, drugs and food, and then become poor, and get rejected by their Chief and are forced to beg and steal. Now not only are the poor ones the problem, the youths are too, they think they are thugs, and start street gangs, then blame everyone else for their problems.

There are others that parade around as wanting equality as well, but they will likely be discussed later.

 

The Native Americans were doing EXCEPTIONALLY well and had a common way of doing things like living off the land and taking what was needed to survive, that was until 'their' land was invaded and was FULLY introduced to things as you say like money, something they knew nothign about, and thus "They spend it on liquor, drugs and food, and then become poor" because they HAD to resort to it.

Had their culture and 'superior' way of living in the sense that they only took what was needed and had no currency and each tribe had affiliations with almost all others, their were trade routes and quite a good system of living.

That ALL was put to an end once true cruelty was introduced to them and backstabbing, all ideas which they had rarely seen, but were now being subjected to on a minute by minute basis.

Things like:
Liquor
Guns/Violence
Forced Diseases which MADE them resort to having to steal medication and food to survive
They were forced to fight each other with the introduction of alliances to the 'white' people and pretty much had to follow them cause their way of living was superior in a different sense and if they did not follow, they were killed.

How can you sit there and type this bs?

The Native Americans were thriving and there were Many Many tribes established now now what? Well from what i've seen, due to the genocidal evil intentions of the 'white' people even the Tribes which thrived the most were EXTERMINATED. Seriously man that's like kicking the shit out of someone and then leaving them to die, except only now are they being tended to.

The Native American Pride has been DEMOLISHED, CRIPPLED, what else do you expect? Hell i bet the mindset is is that if they even wanted to thrive again, they would just get beat-the-fuck-down again and again.

Personally i don't think that money can repair what damage has been done.


EDIT: Native Americans are still basically being 'controlled' by the government as they were manipulated back then so how can you not expect what was done back then to be done now? (Controlled as in Given SPECIFIC linving locations, and reparation money)

This whole subject applies (in america) to just about everyone except a white man. Blacks, women, indians, etc. The simple fact is people want to be equal or superior. When they are neither they aim for the next step up. This general subject applies to blacks, in the equality they want. Fact is, they aren't equal.

As far as I'm concerned, the term "equality" is inane. If someone is striving for "equality" that isn't there to begin with, then they probably aren't equal...

Anyways, I can say Japs are short and blacks a dumb and jews are smart and indians are irresponsible. Generalization isn't some random grouping of people. It's saying that group X does activity X, X percent. So the likelyhood of an individual from group X doing the activity is greater than someone not in that group.

As far as "getting over it", why? Why conform to what we are told. There's no fun in that. Let's always strive for what is right, even if it os over looked because we are the MAJORITY.

 

Sorry I don't believe there is a program to sensitize women, Also this isn't a complaining post by any means, I'm just pointing out something that people seriously put a lot of effort into upholding is truly a load of bullshit. I also don't live in the shit hole by which you name yourself, so please don't babble to me about intelligence when you don't even have the mental capacity to capitalize proper noun's. I live by one of the largest native reserves of Canada, and to say most Natives are hard working would be a generalization, and according to your logic equally inadmissible. Please also inform me when I started talking about your stupid ass country and when filtering cuss words would stop someone who is 12 from guessing what word that they may have posted. Kids aren't all fucking stupid and if you want to make a hypocrite out of yourself and generalize they are through using asterisks then please go ahead, your opinion is of no matter, because you obviously are called America for a reason, you are lead by a moronic puppet leader. What Annex had said in his first post, is true. You can't pick and leave parts of equality. You can't expect women to get paid the same amount men do, when they don't put up with half of the shit they do. Good point.

I have no choice but to agree with the opening statement. Every ignorant person is saying "Treat me as an equal", yet when it comes to something happening to them, they don't want to respond like someone who is 'equal' would. Then they go out and do something idiotic and crazy, and expect people to take their excuse.. "I wanted to be treated the same and they made fun of me! So, I killed them!" .. Shut the hell up and get in jail! Seriously, you won't be treated as an equal if you don't atleast try to act like one .. and whining like a little hoe won't help anything ..

Indian way years ago was an 'Eat what you kill' civilization, so you really can't blame them for wanting to live. The different groups of indians fought for what they wanted and needed, only to have their items taken away without a fair fight. Don't you think the Aztecs fought them for their land? Or do you believe that they just said, "Ah, you can have our land. Just don't kill us .. and by the way, love the number system..". NO! They actually fought, and what must happen when someone fights, one of the two must lose. They lost, they accepted it like real people, and they worked to get more. The indians who gained land, however, had theirs TAKEN from them with no sign of warfare and fighting. They didn't defend themselves because they couldn't. Disease and new-age weapon to them made them all lose.

Now, you shouldn't expect to be equal if you don't act like it .. Complaining about how you're in a wheelchair, and you're handicapped and need assistance, only gives the appearance that you're a lazy bum that needs to stop relying on other people. You're in a wheelchair, sure, but people are under bridges and in caves starving to death .. So stop complaining and be a real person ..

That's what I think on the whole subject .. Err, my opinion outside looking in.

I believe that those who were 'inferior' before have mostly gained equality and due to the natural greediness of human nature have wanted more while still hanging under the umbrella of 'inferiorness'. I agree with Annex totally on this one, if you want to be an equal then accept what happens between them (aimed at the women's issue). I think if disabled people were truely equals then there would be no need to have them 'first in line'.

the law screws that over apparently now if your in a fight you can use whatever the other person has such as they bring a knife and you start the fight you pull out a gun and shoot them it's supposedly murder.
