EoC = rs is trashed for good

There will always be private servers to play on..

 

zerkers will be trashed. rune is going to require 50 defence + barrows gloves will require 70 defence.

that means, they either need to raise their defence (trashed acc) or stay where they are at and wear full addy. I have a nearly maxed zerker that i abandoned because of this. No barrows gloves + rune = TRASH ACCS.

Graphics are garbage? Are you serious? You think the graphics have gotten worse since you left? You must be delusional buddy. Some things are worse, others are better.

 

The Graphics that the game started with are the graphics i like.

You people are confusing yourself. You're saying the graphics have gotten worse - no. By actual judgement, the graphics now are far superior to those of a few years ago. Now, you miss the nostalgia of the game, and the old graphics bring back the memories, but that is it. You may have preferred the old graphics to the modern (and future ones) but technically, the graphics are being improved.

 

People started this game, and the game itself. I am not forgetting and yes memories.

But the way runescape used to be was community Oriented...

now it is far from.

My opinion is the gfx now and in the future will be worse. then again, im probably a bit older then most of the kids that play. so i enjoy the old mid evil of the game

 

The game isn't community oriented? What are you rambling on about? You're stating random things that make no sense.

The aesthetics is all opinionized. You may not like it, others do. In all honesty, who cares how it looks? If you cannot enjoy a game because of newer graphics, go to a private server or simply find a new game. Ranting about it won't solve anything.

 

Jagex is a buisness. What do buisnesses do? They make money. Why settle for X amount when you can have XX amount? Look at the MMORPG gaming industry... what is some of the top games? WOW, GW etc.. RS is just becoming another game like those. The only plus that RS has is it is on a browser. To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if they come out with a box set you can download and install on your computer to play. While also playing online through a browser. If you have been playing since 2000 then you must have overcome lots of the updates Jagex have thrown out. This is just going to be another update everyone will adapt to and eventually will grow onto you.

I am a buisness owner myself, And i understand that standpoint.

But its better to have a customer base of x amount of then x amount of idiots.

 

Calling people idiots when they're paying for a service which they are happy with, makes me think you have no idea about business ideas.

If a company thinks a idea can make money, they will try it. If it loses more player base than it gains, they will most likely revoke the update.

Just because you don't like the game, doesn't mean the company is making a mistake.

 

Tbh, Jagex doesn't care about these 'old', 'classic', whatever you call yourselfs, anymore.

Jagex is trying to get rid of the old players to gain new players. why?
Old players don't resub as constant as new players.
A old player would resub every now and then..
but new players who just got addicted to the game they'll resub and do stupid things just for the game.

And IMO MOST players that are addicted to the game will eventually start RWTing and botting.

but new players who start the game will play legit for awhile before they get interested in bots and so.. but it'll take awhile for them to browse and trust in a site. as for most old players on rs now are on sythe/pb and other sites.

 

Firstly, you have obviously never played WoW. Rs is NOTHING like WoW.

Also, if you understood game mechanics in any way, you'd realise that a combat TRIANGLE is not infact the way to go if you are seeking balance in 1v1 PvP. srsly m8...

 

I think the graphics are nice, just wait for the eoc. Everyone will adjust.

 

Until they realise no one likes it, make us wait a year... then take it away...
