Entrana Lure

Okay, so today a couple of kids wanted to do the Entrana lure on me, and I have seen videos on it before and I understand how it works so I wasn't worried. I thought I'd try to anti-lure them so I brought like 5M with me since I don't really care about that kind of money. They promised me 30M for round 1 and 100m+ for the second round.

When we arrived and I had been told the rules of the game - round 1 started. I was given 4 junk items and I then I dropped all my items on the floor really quick. Then I made a fast trade and when I put in all the junk they gave me, they flashed the 30M cash pile. The lurer started to talk trash to me for a few secs, and I quickly realized that I was not gonna receive the 30M as people usually do when attempting to anti-lure. He declined and I picked up all my items... At least that's what I thought I did... Because when none of my items appeared in the inventory, I saw a message in the chatbox and a monk kicked me out from the island. I had just lost 5M by trying to anti-lure kids that outsmarted me. I have never fallen for lures before, this is the first time and I started laughing so much. It was pretty funny tbh. :nuts:

They traded me an unnoted teasing stick, which is the reason why I was kicked from the island. :laugh: The stick is made from the Hunter Kit, which is allowed on Entrana. The Hunter kit is created from a Lunar Spell, and runes are allowed on the island!

Just wanted to share this experience with people here, I'm not here to whine or anything, just trying to share a little story. I never thought they would actually succeed ^_^

This and trading them a flower both are ways to get them kicked off the island.

 

Why isn't the lurer kicked off the island if he has those items with him?

 

They trade it to you upstairs and if you are upstairs the rules of entrana don't apply so they trade it to you then tell you to go down the ladder thus kicking you off of the island as soon as you click the ladder.

 

I didn't even click the ladder. I was just kicked off the island while standing on the island lol.

 

The state of luring is ridiculous. There's no combat or strategy involved, you literally tell people to drop their items on the ground and they have to do it for the lure to work.

I don't know if I should be more shocked that people actually thought up so many lures that require people to drop their items on the ground, or that people are stupid enough to fall for it.

 

There are actually 2 killing lures still common today, that are extremely difficult to pull off.

For dropping lures, it's not as simple as you telling them to drop. There is usually an hour or so of convincing before you even ask the victim to drop.

Although I do agree luring more and more relies on luck if the victim is stupid enough to drop, but there still is stagey and skill involved.
