Kinda pissed about a girl

Hey all - I'm kind of pissed at myself that I'm not with this chick that I work with. I got her number too and I just basically had no balls to ask her out when she was single, and she seemed interested in me too.

Now she has a boyfriend, and she is moving in with him. Now I'm just a good friend with her at work, and shes really sweet. Makes me think sometimes when I talk to her, that I wish I would of took initiative of asking her out, and how her pathway would change with me.

Oh well, I'm not depressed - just sometimes mad for failing to act early. Thanks for reading and enjoy your night.

It's funny how things work out - sometimes for the worse.

There was this girl last semester that caught my attention more than any other girl regardless of looks. I could always go up to any girl and make conversation and jokes with no problem, but with this girl I got too nervous to make any move. She actually made a move on my friend but that fell through because my friend doesn't have many social skills.

Anyway, she has been "with" this other guy for a while even since then, but he never wanted a relationship - however they really liked each other a lot and since he didn't want a relationship that was why she made moves on other guys (like my friend).

Long story short, fast forward a few months and now I'm best friends with her and that other guy whose now her boyfriend. They're both extremely great to hang out with and no longer have those feelings for her. However, one time we went out to dinner just the both of us and she admitted she really liked me from the start.

Take initiative man. No regrets.

 

Find a new sociable female. That may fill the resentment you feel when you talk to her at work. You be like "you're sweet and all, but she's sweeter" Just a thought.

 

Chin up and look elsewhere, don't be the douche that tried to break people up because he didn't have the balls to ask her out before she got in a relationship.

 

What I've learned is that if you're too quick to act it will make you seem somewhat desperate, if you wait too long they lose interest. 2-4 weeks is the perfect amount of time to start associating yourself with a woman to make it feel like she isn't the only one you have on your phone if you know what I mean. It makes them more interested and dedicated to making you keep attention to them. Just remember this for next time.

 

90% chance they will break up. Every relationship, idc who, end up breaking up, it's only a very few that get back together. Two humans can't live together without causing a chaos one time or another. Just be patient and she will be free once again, hopefully for you, the argument is strong enough to be a permanent split. Just make sure you're not a rebound.
