I have been with my GF for 13 months now. But I feel she doesn't fill me, she doesn't make me happy, and I'm using her like a gateway of happiness... while making her happy (As a person, not as my gf) I make myself happy.

I feel it's time to end it, I can't continue depending solely on myself through her to be happy.

I don't want suggestions posted here.

Please add my msn/skype if you have time to chat.

Thank you

If she truly does love you there is no way to not break her heart. You should just be honest with her, she may be sad or angry at the time but in time she will grow to appreciate your honesty and not having it drag on which will make you unhappy also.

If this is like your first girlfriend you ever want to break up with just tell her that you can't do it anymore, you will then watch the power you have over someone who loves you as you tear her heart into two pieces in front of your eyes.

No way around hurting her unfortunately but you have to look out for yourself.

She is my ninth girlfriend. But the one I have lasted the most.

I'll try t slowly cut the relation.

Perhaps you should explain how you feel before you break up with her. What if she simply doesn't realise what she's doing wrong, it'd be a waste of 13 months to not at least try to talk about it before ending a relationship.

Sorry to hear your having some trouble. The best way, is just to tell her how you feel. Hopefully, if she's understanding, you can still be friends (yes, that does happen!). And if not, then she will move on as you will.

I dumped my girlfriend of 3 years about 3 months ago. Was the hardest thing to do in the world.. even if u have a perfectly good reason for doing it. Theres not really an easy way of doing it, you just have to do it, dont be harsh about it.. be civil and calm about it. Explain to her why you're doing it and that you just really need this for your own sake. She will eventually understand.. if not right away.. time heals everything. My ex suffered for a week and it slowly started getting better for her.

Instead of coming to the conclusion of ending it, have you even tried confronting her about it? Surely if she doesn't make you happy enough, you need to find something for her to do to make up for it. Talk to her about how you feel. If she cares, she'll do whatever it takes to regain your happiness. If the feeling is mutual, then she will understand where you're coming from and you two can cut your losses together.

Just be mature about it. Don't simply dump her for a lack of happiness. Don't just slowly cut her out of your life making her feel as though she's done something wrong.

Communication is key.

I would just tell her that it isn't working out for you anymore, you have to look out for yourself. Breaking her heart is unfortunately inevitable so its best to just swiftly end it so that she be able to start healing the wounds quicker.

You don't have to be a dick about it either, but I seriously recommend not talking to her for a few weeks after you split so in her mind the relationship is done permanently.

If you don't want to hurt her feelings directly, you can do it indirectly
Maybe you could try acting differently? Like an ass, an embarrassment etc

It'll hurt your ego but it'll hurt her less :p

That ^

That's how I break up with my girlfriends. If you act like a dick then will dump you and they will be hurt less because they'll be glad they got rid of you.
First off break a bit of contact with her so she gets used to not seeing you as much.

Yeah that works too. Do something to piss her off and make her mad at you. Even if it doesnt lead to her wanting to break up with you.. itll piss her off and probably say some mean shit to you.... then u can retaliate and escalate it further and eventually be like BITCH IM DONE WITH U.
