    Empirical evidence.

Until we have studied absolutely everything, isn't empirical evidence useless?

I apologise for my ignorance if this isn't the case, but isn't empirical evidence only just if circumstances of everything remain the same forever?

I mean, for example, how can you prove that eggs won't all turn green in 2015?

    Empirical evidence.

Empirical evidence can help you make sense of the present, but nothing is going to predict the future for you.

I don't understand your point. I'm thinking you misunderstand what empirical evidence is and how it is applied into science/debate/etc.

    Empirical evidence.

Empirical evidence is evidence based, broadly speaking, on experience, after a series of experiments and outcomes, so how do we know that the secondary effects, say, won't occur after a period of time?

    Empirical evidence.

Empirical data is the source data from which we build models about the world. The models are necessarily imperfect. All that this means is we don't trust models, and when we do, we are highly suspicious of them.

So it's the opposite of what you've stated; What occurs in the real world is of the utmost importance, and our models tend to become dated or defunct in light of new data. -- The models are not useless, they simply can never be perfect.
