Removal of the Deadman Marketplace

Activity within this section is not active anymore.

My thoughts:

Generalize the current "RS3 07 Gold Swapping" section to "Gold Swapping" general and add a sub-forum in account sales for "Deadman Accounts".

This frees up room on the homepage and still allows you to easily locate the sections. The section is rapidly dying but I think we should still make it remain accessible.

Create a separate subforum in the marketplace for each Deadman Seasonal, as it is only Quarterly. Post-comp, delete the section. This will remove the cross-posting in the current deadman market as well between w45 and Seasonal.

I feel this will clean up nicely.

 

Well if you knew the forums you would see there is only one market. The alternative is we can produce a subforum at the beginning of each season and removal at the end so people are not cross posting between perm/seasonal. There is only one deadman market....

 

I can support this, or maybe instead change it to SDMM also.

 

Why would u delete it. If someone wants to sell or buy its easy and its not anoying that its there.

 

No support it actually is a huge market when it starts, and people still continue playing it too

 

actually edit a bit:

i would just suggest rather categories like "runescape market" then subs like RS3 / RS07 / DMM / SDMM ... then another subs in each category as "accounts" and "gold"

 

If it's not active, then I support it.

I'd personally like to see tag consolidation of each section to make the forums more condensed and promote more activity.

 

With the updates coming for dmm, they might become more active but if it stays like it is, support.

 

Im with you on changing the name of the gold swaping sub fórum. No support regarding the removal of the deadman market, it is active from time to time, maybe a tweak, but im out of ideas.

 

The title is click bait. Its about keeping them up to date. Place deadman in the account market and only keep a deadman seasonal section during the prelim season. It compacts the market and will increase usage

 

On the line with this. This section is super active when they release new seasons etc

 

No support. Deadman has it's up and downs. It's just the way the game works, hence how the market adjusts to the game.

If a section isn't as active as others it doesn't mean Sythe should remove it or merge it. Hypothetically speaking, a shoe shop may sell 10,000 pairs of one brand of shoe, and 50 of another. Does that mean they should remove the lesser known brand from their store? In my opinion no, as a potential 50 consumers are satisfied, which is what good quality business is all about for long term growth and success.

 

I agree completely, for when the season come out this is a great money flow for both sythe and 07.
