ELO Boosting Ban - Riot Benji

If a VPN couldn't save him how long would his smurf last in challenger if he were to make one and get back up there considering someone is bound to find out who he is with everyone knowing each other etc

 

Seems like you could buy some boosting yourself.

He's allowed to create a new account and play pub, right? Just indefinitely banned from OCE competitive.
Kind if disturbed that they'd release his IRL docs.

 

Unlike those who buy boosting, I would rather try get better at the game myself.

Yeesh. Paying money only to get flamed for being bad and getting demoted.

 

Most people who buy boosts are those that buy one to a division 5 and play maybe a few games. However, most of the time the boosted rank is used to gloat to their mates/look impressive to other players/peers.

There are those small minority that buy boosts to help them climb, and are often return customers who purchase few wins every time they fear demotion/want a promotion, etc.

 

Damn that sucks for him.

 

If he isn't on an LCS team, then challenger team won't do much in terms of money for him.

To be honest, if I was in his position I would have done the same. It really blows for him though, that'd be something big to be taken away from you.

 

Most people that receive a boost are in your position. I know I was there. I did well every single freakin game it felt like, but there was always some troll or feeder or afk, up to a point where it was near impossible to climb.
I paid for boosts to get me to an elo where I feel like I am at an equal level with everybody else. I could have gotten there by just playing a massive number of ranked games, and if thats what you want to do, go for it.
In general, if you are that bad you will quickly lose the ranks you paid to get boosted. Being a rager and getting mad at them honestly will just hurt your gameplay, and keep you forever stuck in that elo.

The only thing that will stop Elo boosting is getting rid of ranked and that is never going to happen.

 

I did this from silver to gold. Helped me a hell of a lot to see what players in higher elos were doing differently to me. Now here i am in Plat.
