Probably best to explain the whole situation leading up to it.
I wanted to transfer some 07 gp to EoC, but after being scammed too many times, I decided to look for a middleman. I ended up finding Heads447, who I added to skype.
I went through the general procedures of getting him to PM me via Sythe, which he did. Not even a minute after pming me, "he" opened up a new window and asked to add the person who was going to give the EoC gp. I didn't think twice to look at the Skype ID, as he did it the exact time after the pm was sent.
After the money was given, he subsequently logged off. I happened to notice when filling out the scam report that it was a different Skype ID. I knew though, that this was him and was just an elaborate way to scam, and didn't want him to get away with it. So I did the exact conversation, with simply showing his Skype ID over it instead of the new one. In my mind, there was no way this was an imposter, as how would he know the exact moment that a PM was sent to my inbox. I also knew that there would be no way for him to be banned if I explained how it actually happened.
This however, I do know doesn't make what I did right. I also would like to apologize if I was a bit rude in my ban appeal, but as you might understand, I was quite upset that not only did Heads get away with the scam, but I also (as the victim of the scam) was permanently banned from Sythe.
If pardoned (if required), I can refrain from posting scam reports in the future so you can be assured this situation doesn't arise again. It was wrong of me to do what I did, I just hope you realize it was done with the proper intention - to get a scammer off of Sythe so he can't scam more members.
