    Effects of Decrease in Players

    I just want to poll the Sythe community and see who thinks that a decrease in Runescape players will effect the gold selling/buying economy and if yes then how.

    Looking forward to the replies!

    Interesting. I agree with that but do most people?

    Demand decreases, supply decreases by a lesser amount: prices go down.

    Most of the people quitting aren't RWT'ers. People who RWT for personal use rather than business will enjoy the game more than the average Joe because they can have whatever they want or are simply just not quitting because they're hooked on being rich or staking or popularity etc.

    That being said, of course demand decreases but I don't think it's noticeable enough to be concerned about yet.

    Demand = Maintained
    Jagex's bot nukes = Uncertain / periodically
    Price = Maintained
    Reason = Newcomers will keep demand up. Bot nuke will reduce goldfarmer's supply.

    it'll progressively become an issue. you may or may not start to witness change, but it will not be significant enough until a substantial amount of people stop playing the game.
