    It doesnt make any sense...with GP being harder to get shouldnt the price of gold be increasing?

    Nope. With all the bots around, it's easier to get GP.
    That means that there's alot of GP in the game.

    High supply of GP = a "decent/low" demand -> low prices

    Undetectable bots + a zillion botters = a zillion gp

    a zillion gp = low prices
