[eBay] Get stuff Cheaper! w/ CashBack

Hi, this is a basic guide on how to save the maximum amount of money purchasing something. I'll make it quick for now but will add more steps and pictures later tomorrow when I have time.

STEP ONE
- Make an eBay account and a PayPal account. I'm not going to go in detail about this since it is very easy. It is preferred by the seller if you VERIFY your PayPal account and also your identity on eBay if you can.

STEP TWO
- Make a Hotmail or LIVE e-mail account. Very easy, go through MSN.com and make it.

STEP THREE
- Find a trusted seller (Near 100% Feedback, lots of feedback preferred, real all bad feedback, etc.) and read item description carefully, and do your best at finding the cheapest of that item (There are multiple sellers). Make sure the item is "Buy It Now" and not an auction. (Will explain why on next step)

STEP FOUR
- Copy the URL of the item you have decided to buy, and go to LIVE.COM. Go ahead and enter a popular search term of an electronic, such as "wii" or "360" or "ps3". You should find a sponsored link that says you will receive a percentage of a purchase back on eBay if you pay using PayPal. It should look something like this...



STEP FIVE
- Once you click the cashback link, purchase the item. You should have it say something about cashback on the confirmation page, if not then clear your cookies and redo the cashback step.

STEP SIX
- Purchase the item with your PayPal account. You should receive your cashback in 60 days after signing into your cashback account (live or hotmail) through eBay.


This method has worked for several items of mine. I ended up getting a $700 item for $500 (which was $1029 at best buy), a $300 item for $250, a $850 item for $650, and so on. This is basically like rebate.

By the way, for Fable II fans, I bought a Fable II limited edition for $70 plus $6 shipping from a seller ($79.99 retail) and got $21 cashback, so I got it for around $55, which is $25 lower than retail.

I think if I add up all my savings it goes well over $1000. Sometimes accounts will not be eligible anymore so I go ahead and make new ones.

Thanks. You can also use this for other places other than eBay by keywording the website name such as "desktop hp", but I recommend using this on eBay since items are usually cheaper there in the first place.

Thanks. I'd say finding a good seller the most important step, so watch out for bad sellers. Basically like sythe, look at their feedback.
