Easterr?

Just wondering if everyone enjoyed it? I got an Ipod Touch for easter. And a $40 itunes card, going to have some fun with it. Post thoughts/ experiences.

 

I' m still enjoying that day.

 

I don't get presents for easter? Lol

But this year i said i didn't want easter eggs since i no longer eat chocolates. And my mum asked what i'd like instead, i said nothing. So she said she'll buy me some belt buckle that i wanted, it has a lighter in it lol .

 

Since when did Easter turn into Christmas?
The only thing I ever get for Easter is like candy and maybe like 5 or 10 dollars.

 

I actually received a $25 gift card to the mall, along with some candy. I don't really do much but go to my family holiday party. Most of the time we either end up drinking or chatting with family that we don't catch up with too often.

 

Bleh. Easter is great today, I'm at my dads and since the majority of his family is 2-3 hours away, he doesn't force us to go. The problem is tomorrow. I'm at my moms and we get to drive 1 1/2 hours to see our whole family. I despise all of them.

But I get presants for Easter. Since when is it not a gift giving holiday?

-EDIT- GOD FUCKING DAMMIT. Oh fucking joy, I get to ride in a car for 3 hours to go to my old ass grandparents house. I don't even believe in god/easter. Fuck this.

 

Since always? Easter is the day that people decorate eggs, have Easter egg hunts, and eat candy. Not exchange gifts. It's not Christmas.

 

Got some chocolate. Nothing that special

 

Yeah I got some chocolate eggs and some chocolate rabbits. Why are people getting ipods? >_>

 

That's exactly what I want to know. Last time I checked Easter was not gift-giving holiday.

I got some chocolate eggs from my grandparents. But we don't give gifts on Easter.

 

Umm, I just woke up. I think easter is today. I'm going tom enjoy it, I spend my time with family, and have a nice family dinner. I don't really do much but eat chocolate and such. I never get presents and stuff, since when do people get presents for easter?

 

WTH I would like a freakin iPod for easter, I hate easter, because im not into all this religious crap

Easter isn't for a week for me, Orthodox.

But i get the usual as most of you, candy and maybe some cash.

 

Woah. Lucky you. I thought Easter was a day of celebrating the rise of Christ and the gift giving season wasn't until December, guess i was wrong =p. I only got chocolate eggs, very small marshmallow ones too.

 

Most Christians I know get a small gift, but an iPod Touch is a bit much.
