if your having worst winters over there where you live then that means your moving back from it.... means we are getting colder and possibliy before the global warming REALLY starts happining, the we would probably have another ice age before it...

    but who really knows...

Basically, Earth is slowly off it's axis and tilting slightly off of the orbit. In centuries time, Earth will get too cold for living and unfortunately, we will have to set standards of living possibly to midday Mars. :]

I highly doubt any standards for the living conditions of humans to exceed the terrestrial conditions of Mars, but evolution, if existing, will have to take place somehow. Sooner or later, Earth will be too far away from the Sun which will halt much life.

Yes, i agree Hell, but.. the conditions on mars wil be to cold to live on,

I don't possibly think that us humans will be able to survive on mars' -110* temperature. But, you never know what we humans will be able to do. Even in the next 5 years, I'm sure the there will be flying cars..
But i shall only hope for the best.. :]

The idea of something as complex as flying cars has no where NEAR set foot on the feeble minds of the people inhabiting Earth. Society can barely handle ground traffic, much less air traffic. Imagine a million cars flying around in the air. The death count would increase to much.

    :] Pretty good assumption.

Well, if there were a way to make paper out of something other than the assistance of trees, Earth's forests' and jungles would increase greatly is essential health and growth. Whoever were to be able to make something like that would definitely be RICH.

    Earth moveing?

I think it isn't, wouldn't it stay in the same orbit unless we lost weight or the sun lost weight?

Um... If he has fall for a winter now that means global warming not cooling lol. He WAS having cold winters. NOW he has fall for winter.
EDIT: Also, our Moon is moving away from us.

    Earth moveing?

While Earth is steady moving away from the Sun, so are the other planets. Particularly Mercury. Which is basically the entire point of the conversation. The Sun's orbit is generally pushing away the planets around it. Mercurys mass is making it move too fast. The planet itself is coming too close to Venus and Earth, causing global warming. Until the Earth's axis tilts further away from Mercury, Global warming will occur more than the Earth's cooling, meaning that the Earth will only get hotter. :] TRY .. Just TRY to shame me. :]

Well as you know the earth is moving. But i did not say anything about the other planets so i don't know where you got the idea of all the other planets moving...

I agree with purple. Mercury's temperature, while moving away from the Sun however, is also moving towards venus, which is moving towards Earth. While Venuses heat is being reflected off of Mercury's surface, it's being reflecting onto Earths. Not only is earth moving in a circle around the Sun, but it's moving in a circle around it's own orbit. This means that different parts of heat will hit different parts of Earth. Thus, global warming will infect us all! :[

I wonder what it will be like in so many years when the Earth is TO far away from the Sun. Another Ice Age? Maybe ..

    Earth moveing?

I've always been taught that the earth is moving towards the sun and it moves towards the sun like 1.5-3.5 feet a year. This is because of gravity, pulling the earth in to the sun, because the sun has much more mass then the earth.
