Dungeoneering Weapons.

So basically, I've decided to finally touch Dungeoneering and so far I've gotten it to roughly 35ish. I'm just wondering if anyone could help me out with what weapon to use and how to obtain it?. I've read posts of people saying to bind the best weapon possible, but currently I have a hailstorm dagger binded as that is all I've figured out how to obtain. I have 78 attack by the way.

That's what I meant, and I probably should have clarified that in my OP. I'm still trying to wrap my head around this skill. I'm more so used to the simplicity of the basic RS skills haha

 

avoid daggers, get a 2h or spear. you can wield up to Katagon, so i'd try to get a katagon 2h if possible.

 

Would you mind mentioning how I would go about obtaining one of those? So far this is one of the few skills I have yet to get a grasp of and I'm completely confused when it comes to obtaining weaponry in the dungeons.

 

If you go into a C1 floor I assume the game will give you a katagon weapon since you can wield it. When you get into a floor where they give you a 2h, bind it.

Another option would be to go into a CC where people smith items for you either for free or a small fee. One CC I know is 'Dung Smith'.

make sure you bind a shadowsilk hood if you get one.very helpful

 

At your current level it would be best to bind a Katagon 2 hander. However if you ever happen upon a Shadow Silk hood I would ALWAYS recommend binging that over anything. As for getting both of these items, you can obtain the Katagon 2h by smithing Katagon ore inside the dungeon. If you do not have the level there are a couple of clans that will make one for you. The shadow silk hood is a drop by night spiders, which is a slayer monster inside the dungeon. It is semi-rare however if you see it, bind it immediately.
