Dropping out?

i just wanna finish HS cuz its fun to chill with my friends =P

 

I know more people who dropped out and are making a LOT less than people who graduated.

 

Have you even thought this through, or did you just say "gah school sux illz just quit sc00lz."

 

I've thought it out.

Nah, I've already got a job set up for me, and untill then i'll work in stores or whatever till im 18.

 

And what after that? How do you expect to start making a lot of money?

 

Well, If you'd read what I said - I have my job that i will have untill I retire already set up for me. And if that fails, I'll find anothern just like it.

 

I'm just curious, what job is it?

Back on topic:
You would have to be VERY lucky and VERY smart to make a decent living without a high school degree. My brother is almost graduating dental school, and i plan to do the same... well, either medical school, dental school, or veterenarian school... Either way, i'm dreaming WAY past high school. Good luck in whatever you do though.

True if you win the lottery or become a famous actor or sports figure. It has been known for many years that young people who don't complete high school face many more problems in later life than do people who graduate. What's that exactly? i didn't understand,and the only way to make money uneducated more than educated is either to be an actor/actress or a sport player or a rock star

 

i dropped out and am making 24 bucks an hour with my dad and thats no tax cash under the table and easy work too

 

24 bucks an hour won't get you far supporting a family...

And dude, face it, you won't go anywhere without at least a high school degree, and after that, a bachelor's degree is a starter.

not gonna flame, but now-a-days, not going to college is kinda bad, before, just going to college was really really good but now its like if you dont go your chances of good pay is very slim, not take that into mind and think of dropping out of highschool, thats about 10x worse, dropouts are mostly looked at as druggys, trouble makers, and lazy people, their is however annother wa of dropping out, if you are making straight A's and you wanna dropout to get a full time job, the school will ALLOW you to dropout and send your work home and you turn it in at the end of every week, other than that dropouts are kinda nothin.

 

What if you get laid off? It will take a long time to find another job, without a high school diploma.

 

do you mean an honored dropout or just a regular dropout person? cause a person who is honorable dropped out they technicall didnt dropout they just dont come to school, they still do work and what not they are just smart enough to not need teachers to explain therefore they get full time jobs and make a living at an earlier age,
