Raids will do nothing but keep the price at a steady $.90 for another 3 or 4 months. Gold will continue to decrease in value as time creeps forward. More gold in the game = less value of gold.

At least paying for membership on gold farm account with bonds will be cheaper

100% yes. It will only temporarily rise whenever they release something that has short lived hype within the game for present day players and those who dabble here and there.

It will also rise at times such as x-mas and january when people are spending tonnes of money on gold and the demand is higher.

This will mislead a lot of people and cause some to hoard gold, but they'll be very dissapointed once the hype is over and it crashes again.

None of us can accurately predict when and how what will happen, but as for the xmas example, this happens year after year without fail.
