You could try chinning in the nmz while a couple other people burst/barrage. You could try it solo but you would go through a lot of absorb pots.

 

Quick update, still progressing with my magic and have found that maple longs are actually cheaper per alch than yews at the moment with current market/availability.

 

How much will 80-94 mage cost you?

 

Damn looks good. I've always wanted a high stat gmaul for rushing.

13M with Maple Longs and roughly 15.8M if I used Yew Longs.

Could have saved money by stringing them myself but whatever. Back from my graduation and back at alching. Hoping to hit 90 and take a break for a while. Will get back to ranged and strength training next. 90-94 gonna take a while I'm sure.

While I don't think leaving it at 70 would really hurt me I think getting it up to at least 85 would definitely help with a few extra HP levels. I'm not sure exactly where I'm going with this account yet. For now it's a mauler but it may end up as some sort of staker. Is the DDS staking community any good right now?

Decided to get prayer - got enough alchs left for 94 and also preparing to start chinning now. Took a couple days break.

Edit - shoot! I just noticed that if I wish to chin the way I always did before I need to do the Grand Tree (which I forgot to do before) which would bring me to 51 attack. Now I'm stuck whether or not I want to go to 60 attack, or stay with 50 and choose a different location to chin.

Thoughts/opinions?

 

My thought would be that I tried telling you so.

I'd go with 60 attack man. Dragon weapons are great and give yourself a lot more versatility. Nice progress by the way too man!

 

I had it in my head that I had already completed the Grand Tree so that kinda messed me up. I just got about 1/3 done Monkey Madness and I'm calling it a night. Gonna probably chin in the morning for a while. Not real concerned about getting MM done too soon.

 

Looks like it's gonna be a 60 attack pure - LOL fail on attack.

Oh well - to chinning tomorrow! Monkey Madness took WAY too long.

 

I'm pretty sure that it's impossible to get back to the island as a pure. You'd have to get the defense xp from Daero to be able to fly back :/

NMZ is currently a good alternative, but it's probably going to be nerfed soon.

 

ARGH. Man, been a rough couple days for me in terms of making mistakes! LOL. I guess I need to look into alternative ways of chinning now.

 

I highly recommend 60 attack. It's just worth it in every way.

Thanks for the comments, fellas! I think I'm going to be training for 60 attack now and will look into this "nightmare zone" you all speak of. I have no idea what it is in all honesty haha!
