Fuck your friends then, why are you living your life for them? Why do you care what they think? Live your life for yourself, not for others.

Focus on making yourself better, for yourself, not for others.

 

I've felt like this before but id always have a best friend to cheer me up, anyway dude hold your head up high you can message me anytime if you want to talk im always open to make new friends.

Friends are over rated.

Personally, I'd rather be isolated and left alone. Friends, to me, are just people there to keep you company or to entertain you. Assuming you're still in school, theres nothing to worry about. You probably won't even know these people after you've left school so just try to get some decent grades and move on with your life rather than trying to get people to like you and make friends.


But maybe that's just me.

 

Maybe you've met the wrong sort of people if there's non of your current friends you would like to know in the future. Yes, he should care more for HIS own life, but there's no reason to "avoid" friends.

If you can't do both, then you're clearly doing something wrong. (To the person above, as he rather be isolated and left alone).

It's not that I do not like my current group of friends, or wish to have a decent group of friends of which I will probably know for the rest of my life. It's more not wanting to. I just don't like people in general. There are a select few whos company not minded, however I would not optionally befriend someone for the pure sake of 'having friends'.

People make such a fuss about having lots of friends and 'good friends'. You will soon realise that everyone has their flaws and will mess up all the time, whether you realise it or not. For me, I pick up on pretty much every mistake or annoyance that people will cause, this makes me despise people more and more. Friends are more trouble than they are worth. Who needs them?

One again, perhaps this is just me, but that's how I feel on the whole 'Friends' situation.

You worded it just fine, mate. However, I myself do not have a bunch of friends (by choice), I have a few "selected" ones which I hang out with, but those are also people I almost expect to know in the future.

Of course we're all different, but I promise you friends can help out if and when it's needed. (I myself, I'm a person whom doesn't really share emotions nor feelings towards anyone nor with anyone).

No, it's not spam. I find it quite interesting to know there are people out there like myself.

Like yourself, I also 'hide' the majority of emotions when around other people. To others, I guess I appear as a very funny and generally happy person, however that isn't really the case.

Life is pretty tough at the moment, and after trying to explain this to one of my closest friends recently, I realised that friends aren't really friends, they are just people there that use you for your company or because they think you are funny and use you like a monkey. For their own entertainment.

 

Don't let your friends rule over you. If you think they don't care they probably don't, try and get in with other people.

 

Just forget the whole social scene cause it's overrated and noone is that good. Learn to do what you like when you like. Peace out man, hope you can learn to like yourself.

 

You'll study, get a good job and a nice wife. Who cares about the amount of friends you have now? I don't know anything about your social situation but I'm sure you have a person you can talk to.

Also I'm always willing to listen if there's anything you would like to talk about. (which I doubt, you don't know me. But that could make it easier.)

 

life is a game, there are so many little tricks, intricacies, etc that you learn as you live life. A good attitude for a while i would suggest is a "fuck it, go do it" attitude, atleast while your young. You see a girl you like, go talk to her don't sit back and live in regrets about what you never could do. Go out and FIND a group of friends that find you funny and entertaining and like being with you! They might not fall in your lap! You only live once and who cares if you get denied by 50 girls if thats what it takes to find the one thats right for you, same goes for a group of friends.

I'd also recommend anything in the self-improvement area. Any way you can motivate yourself to take up a diet/workout plan(p90x, insanity) would help loads. Also pursuing a college degree, finding what you like to do in life. I haven't found one person who doesn't respect, envy, like a guy that has a plan, or a sense of direction, or inner drive.

Pull yourself together, gather everything you got, and PUSH FORWARD. Only you decide WHAT HAPPENS in your life

 

I think it's not you who suck i think the friends suck that they don't talk to you anymore, just keep on and try to find new friends

 

Friendship is a 'workword'
you need to work on it every day. Nobody sucks in this situation, not you, not your friends. Try to do some sports, it will make you feel better. (Really helps good). and try to talk more to your friends, you will see they do want to talk, they probably think it is you that doesn't want to talk. (I've been in the same situation)

 

I had a friend just like this. Do you know what he did? The poor girl hung herself from a silo. The next day me and 2 of my friends were going to a football game. And Rick, one of the 2 friends in my truck, yells for me to "fucking stop." he jumps out of the truck and runs over to the silo and points out Jamie's body.

We were the first to find that she had hung herself. If you actually have any feelings for yourself, friends, family, do not commit suicide. They will never feel the same way.

 

Haha, yeah. It's not that bad I mean some songs can be sorta catchy but there is just so much of the same thing it's really not interesting or relevant to my interests.

Sorry that I have neglected the topic as much as I did but one of the reasons I didn't want to even read the replies (I haven't until just now) is because I was feeling okay just chilling out with a few of my friends on skype, albeit they are people I met on the internet they are people that are just sort of better than any friends I have had in real life which is kind of surprising but at the same time sort of not surprising (weird).

I was going through a rough time with that stupid girl who, when I told her things that I have not told to anyone previously, never talked to me again.

It's just reassuring to know that some people have gone through similar situations and shit.


And Sythe, I don't want to go to a therapist because they just throw everyone on drugs here and I don't need drugs. Also the fact that I would have to probably pay to have someone care about me would make me feel even worse about the whole thing.

Truth is was I was going through a shit time and I got through it so thanks and I really do agree with like all your views and opinions on all of this. Everything posted in here really made me think about things and realize a lot of stuff was still the same that I thought had changed.

About the girl thing, i know how bad that hurts, and that is a big part of your feelings right now, trust me.
