Dragon slayer at low level help

I'm getting ready to attempt the dragon slayer at lvl 30 and I know ill beat him, but i need a food holder if anyone has time to help out

 

Is it really needed? Just bring a full inventory of swordfish and you'll be fine

Yep, I did the quest on my old f2p main about 6 years ago and I was only 32 combat I believe. Just take food and you'll do great.

 

Thanks for the advice, but i just went and tried it because you told me id do great. I got it to half hp with 1 swordie left...

I did it at around that combat too back in the day... However if you can't manage to do it, post back here and I can probably help you out. Good luck!

 

Are you using any pots to boost your stats? Could help.

 

Hmm wow, well, I personally had no trouble, but maybe because my combat stats were spread evenly? If you're a pure, you might face some difficulty with a low defence :S

 

if you're a member, use a (p) wep

 

He's using swordies, I doubt he's a member >.>

 

I'm f2p and I'm using a crossbow with bronze bolts. My stats are spread out, but i have 40 range as well.

There's your problem. I'd suggest melee over ranged (magic works fine too)
