Dragon Kiteshield - Coming This Month!

I'm still waiting for the C'bow and Warhammer.

Kiteshield won't be of interest to me, unless I get one as a drop and sell it .

 

Honestly, I have a feeling this fight will be a challenge... Meaning the DKite could be pricey for a bit (and maybe the drop rate will be extremely low). Reading from what has been speculated on Tip.it, the QBD is supposed to be less endurance than kiln but be more like Nomad (ie. dodging attacks, dealing with special attacks ect.)

Seems legit.

Eager to await this, wondering if Jagex will continue its long term trend of having bad updates or if it will actually be a decent one.

 

The dragon kiteshield won't be useful to the majority of us, the dfs will probably still have better stats and will be cheaper for a while.

 

Idk how many times i speaked with my friends about how cool a dragon kiteshield would be. ( before 2007) and such
imo the update is a few years to late. because the boss ofc is going the be hard. and so the price will be high. and if the shield isnt good enough to compare with even a dfs. i dont see it to be used really for anything else than for the look. which would be sad!

 

Unless if they added a really good spec on the kitesheild itself that may possibly be a must-have in pking, bosses etc.

 

I don't care about the shield, the fact that you would have to get it from the QBD is going to make it just an underpowered, over priced item like the dragon full helm-impossible to get and not really useful for actual pking and PvM.

The only reason I'm liking this update is because I get to fight a new boss. PvM 4eva!

 

im excited tos ee what kind of new dragon weapons there are going to put into the game, like a dragon warhammer or really what all do they need to bring into the game thats allready not dragon that all other types of weapons have to offer? it should be pretty awesome, and im excited to see how awesome the new boss is going to be

 

Would be pretty cool to see how it looks, but they waited for too long to release it. Dragon armour will have 0 strength, so the dragonfire shield would surpass it in every way. I could however see this replacing the sq shields in the wildy if the shield is reasonably easy to get.

 

I can't wait for the DKS!

 

Didn't Jagex also mention the QBD dropping other dragon items? This may lead to some new dragon weapons with exciting special attacks. As for the shield, unless they give it some sort of special effect, I can't see where it would be useful.

 

My model gave slightly higher stats:

59/64/62/-1/61/60

Same absorption.
