Anyone have the mobile ones "Tour"?

I heard they have excellent sound for hip hop/rap which are the 2 genres i listen to most.

I also heard they are a pain to deal with. (ex some guy said they the wire ripped constantly due to the manufacturing and some said the sound wasn't as good as hyped up to be.)

Just wondering if they are any good because I need new headphones anyway and Christmas is coming up so that might be a present I get if its worth it or just might get some ps3 games.

They are REALLY good. My friend had a pair, and I listened to some rap, the beats are so smooth, and it just sounds amazing.

They're hyped up and overpriced, dre is probably makin a buck off them.

If you want some damn good headphones try the sony mdr-v6's, they're industry standard and they haven't changed the design for 25 years simply because they can't make headphones any better than these. I have a pair myself and eargasm everytime i put them on when im high.

4.5/5 stars with over 300 reviews is pretty damn good for a product on amazon.

Yeah i just looked them up and i would actually love them for when I'm just chilling at home or doing whatever, but the thing is i need earbud/travel type headphones for the school bus, car rides, planes, etc. Thanks anyway though.

And I was also wondering you said they were over-hyped I'm just wondering if you've ever tried them or are just like saying that, no offense I just really want to make sure before i make a decision if you know what I mean.

When I say hype what I mean is the value for the money. Normally things like this that are endorsed by celebrities are going to cost way more than the value, I mean I've seen these headphones in numerous music videos already. I've never tried them before but just read the reviews of people who have tried them. Look them up on amazon there's tons of audiophile and electrical engineer reviews on them.

The studio ones, imo, are so much better than the tours. The studio covers your ears, and has a noise cancelling function to hear the music better.
    Drawback: $350.
The sound quality is amazing and it looks so good. If you have money to blow, I would suggest these.
