Double XP weekend *LOOK*

Reliable tip. Don't even try and pull that. Its on the forums. The double exp only last for 1m Exp though.

 

If this is true, then I have already bought all the necessary items to get the best xp available for the weekend. I've bought 10K raw sharks and 10K monkfish. Hopefully it'll be beneficial.

 

i already bought all my summ supplies a month ago so im straight to get my 99 summ whenever its released... most rumors are saying july 16th now?

also, the best items to invest in i think is summ/herb supplies

Sorry guys it isn't true like amny others have said my mate and i discussed it and Jagex said they would advertise the next weekend meaning that it won't be this weekend -.- and yeah, as others have stated it is an advertising ploy for jagex to sell membership. i dont see any advertising.
Think about it logically and yeah.
Since it is such a topical issue was it just a leecher starting a thread to get pc up? might not be the case but those are my thoughts

I like the idea of a double xp weekend, but on the rs forums there seemed to be a lot of people against the idea maybe there wont be anther? (just my thought)

 

Nope, it's not true, Jagex usually tells you a week before it happens.

 

I don't exactly recall where, but I do seem to remember Jagex (or someone of importance) mentioning that they would let the date be known farther in advance next time, so that the stockpiling would not be as extreme.

I don't know if my imagination is making this up, or if it really happened... but either way, it seems something logical to do.

 

A J-Mod has confirmed that players will "know" or be notified when they decide the date for the next Bonus Weekend.

The first and only time Double xp weekend has taken place- yes, we were informed a week ahead of time. This is not an event that takes place regularly, therefore we really cannot follow a pattern in their promotion for the event as its only happened once.

I feel that these "double xp weekends" are just a desperate 'push' from Jagex becausethey are losing too many players
