Dose IRC work on Mac???

Well i was just wanted to know becuase my mac is in m y bedroom and this is in the basement and I wanted to switch! please tell me before I waste time downloading!! Thanks!

It's a little bit more complex than mirc, for example you need to use /q nickserv instead of /ns

I'm sure IRC works for any OS. The client mIRC does not work on IRC though. Here are some clients made especially for mac:
