What is classed as a grave dig?

So, I'm not new to Sythe, but posting around wise I am. I'm looking to get a lot more community focused, and post around a lot. Especially in the general discussion section, and what not. But there are posts that haven't had replies on them for 3 days or more. Now I know grave digging is frowned upon here on Sythe and in forums in general, but what is exactly classed as a grave dig, and how long between replies is classed as a grave dig?

Can I reply to a thread that hasn't been posted in 3 days? Or 24 hours?

I understand posting on something that is well over a month old is probably not the best thing to do. But I'd like some in sight on this from fellow Sythe members if possible.

Well considering Bleu is a post whore, he'd know more of what a grave dig would be. I naturally assumed the same thing though.

I'd probably infract anyone that digs a post from page 3 or a 1 month+ old topic. It comes down to staff discretion really. A page 3 on the gold selling section wouldn't warrant an infraction for example. There are posts that are over a month old and if there is room for discussion then I wouldn't consider it a gravedig. It beats creating another thread when a lot of opinion has already been posted to an older thread. Digging up a thread with 15 replies from page 3 in general and digging up a thread with no replies created by a banned user are 2 very different things if you see where I'm coming from. Just apply a bit of common sense to it and don't worry too much about breaking a rule.

just to add in, not sure that i've ever infracted for this unless it's a user gravedigging like a dozen threads to spam a forum. i think you'll be fine
