Oh god, are you kidding me.
That's the most stereotypical bullshit I've heard in a long time.
Stereotypes tend to have some truth.
Anything to support your statement?

Depends what skyline you look at as to how light weight you'd call it.
Not all coupe's are light, lots are pretty heavy otherwise the power of the car would send them flying off the road when they take a corner.
Most coupes are lighter, than a 4-door, because of less metal, etc..
Actually, a Subaru WRX is much lighter than a Skyline.
Lancer Evolution: Sedan
Subaru STI: Sedan
Subaru WRX: Sedan
Cobalt SS/SC: Sedan
SRT-4: Sedan
Need I name more?
Lighter than which model? Theres a shitload of difference between the weight of an R32 and an R34, i'm not sure about the R35.
Also you can get Sedan Skylines.
R32: Curb weight: 1320kg
R34: Curb weight: 1540kg
R35: I don't know the weight, but it's the same motor that is in an Infiniti G35, except it is not turbo.
R35: 1740 kgR32: Curb weight: 1320kg
R34: Curb weight: 1540kg

Cobalt SS/SC: Coupe
It comes in a sedan too Einstein.
