    negative membership = ban

I see alot of people lately getting negative membership after buying an upgrade. Almost none of the people that say it happens do i see open a scam report. I think the person who sold the membership should have to un negate the membership, or be banned. If people can get banned, a then i think they should have to un negate not refund, because it cost much more to undo negate membership then the pin would cost.

I believe people already do get banned for this as long as proof is posted. TGD Best or something like that got banned it appears for just this. Kero told him he needed to post proof of him refunding and stuff. So this is basically already in place. In essence it is scamming so yes, they should be banned.

Already happens, If you sell an upgrade that results in negative membership, you have to refund.

There is NO proof, unless Jagex provide you with the DATE of the membership added, as well as the code used.

    Or this could happen

    I hate Nano.
I'll attach debit card to my rs account. Wait a month. (Or less/more)
I'll buy a upgrade off Nano.
I'll call my bank, and say my card was lost and to revert the payment to Jagex LTD.
My bank will take back the payment, causing the account to go negative.
Nano gets banned for "doing it"

The person who was mainly responsible for this recently, has already been banned.

That's one of the reasons, besides this case, it happens only rarely.

X-mass what you basicly just said was open the door for membership scams. But I do agree that it could lead to false charges. Maby if multiple people say this?

It is hard to prove it, but if many members would complain about a certain member, he would just loose his reputation.

And if a member has any proof that his negative credits really came from that person's membership (for example, he never was a member and he has a proof about seller making him a member), then he would need to pay back for the buyer by reinstating his account or he would get hammered.

... Hmm This is a valid point. Makes upgrades decently hard to continue.
Msn conversation should show what account it was applied to, therefore if it's been -1 month it was that upgrade.
    Btw, I didn't know you hated n4n0 :)

There is no proof. This had happened to me, with three of my customers. They had complained the pin had froze their accounts, I unfroze it. I could of easily lied, and not waste $60 on UGC cards, but I have good intentions.

That is why, it is recommend to buy upgrades from trusted users. They tend to stay legit and not lie. In any scenario.

And yes, negative chargeback is a ban, unless the pin seller confesses and does not pay back or you have proper screenshots. Such as time, date, etc.

    Love you too.... LOL.

Anyways. This sort of thing is hard to prove, but if it can be proven, the person will be banned.
