Donation perks.

I kinda' like the suggestions, but I kinda' don't.

why would a user need 1000 messages, instead of just deleting old ones and saving server space?

 

A lot of people get plenty of PM's a day. It's a pain to delete them constantly.

 

I like the ideas, but I do think that they should be at different donation levels.

It is very frustrating when you need a PM with proof of payment/deal made... when you have deleted that.
500 is a lot, but filled way too quickly.

I fill my inbox in about a week, it gets annoying constantly deleting pms. Currently have 42 unread messages, and 28 messages till my inbox is full.


1000 would be a life saver.

 

I like the idea of $1000+ having something like the admin ribbon for posts, possibly green to show the money they have donated. I know Giverny said it is important for Admins and such, but how many $1000 donators are there? Just N4N0? Is it that big of a deal that they would be confused with Admins to dumb noobs especially if it was a different color or something different all together?

Yah, the name change was a bad idea. But i'm planning oon donatiing soon and some extra perks, even extra space would be awesome.

 

I have intentions of donating ($5 only) but I feel it would be easier for people to donate $300+ if the perks were better.

Just my 2cents.

 

Bette perks wouldn't make it any easier to donate $300. I think what you're trying to say is that it would give users more incentive as to why they should donate.

Though even if the $300 Donor perks gave me the ability to change my UT/UI/Avatar/Rank on my own I probably wouldn't jump from $100 - $300. Not all of us make enough money to donate large amounts of money at a time >.>
